Lucky fountain

Is it supposed to give messages or something? I put in my money and it made a sound. I put in more money and it made a different sound. I put in more and it made another sound. I have no clue as to what the sounds meant. I don't know if I did anything other than throw money into a fountain.

You can win a prize with it. Won't tell you what it is. Would only spoil it. ;)

Nothing really special. But if you win, you will get a notification. And it will be in your inventory.

How about some "try again, better luck next time" messaging? Cause im not gonna keep plugging in money for no reason

How about you don't be a jerk? This is a discussion board and this was meant for the devs. I think they'd much prefer that we throw money in it than that we don't, and I don't think it's too much to ask for some messaging to indicate whether or not it was successful.

But thank you very much for being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and for reminding me why I stopped coming to the boards.

David, you know how to reach me if DL wants to actually make a response to this request.

The point is, if everytime you don't win a message shows up, you could see the same message dozen times in a row! :-)
Simply try until you win! This Fountain was on PsHome too, and it worked in the same way! :-)

Well, i'm actually a pretty nice guy, if I may say so myself.

This is indeed a discussion board. You never made it clear that you addressed the devs. You asked it in a public discussion board. I did you a favor and gave you an answer (on a public forum). I replied, and then you replied with " How about.."

I gave you back an how about in return. I don't think I was being rude at all.

Anyway, I hope you get your answer.

Edit: allright I admit, maybe that last "how about" was a bit too much.

Well what I was thinking was that the message would be nice to let you know something is happening as opposed to it not working as intended which we all know can be a challenge with new releases.

However as was so politely pointed out all I have to do is not play ... and that's an excellent suggestion.

Hmm... it could simply do a "you've not won" sound, maybe... or perhalps a message could be show when you stop throwing chips: it would say "this time you've not won, maybe next time!"...
