Casino is rigged
I know all casinos are in the house favor but ♥♥♥♥ I just can't win. Once i unlocked higher bets in blackjack i got up to 23k and it went downhill from there extremely quick. I ALWAYS get a 10 on a 12 and the dealer always gets 21 when I have a 20 or 21. How do I make money???

I've played almost every game and don't see a good way to make money. Slots are garbage, roullete i just come out even or at a loss, that spin wheel game i thought would be easy but lost like 8k, i was doing okay in craps but started losing again, bingo takes way too long and I never win. Poker is hard. The only way to make money is by getting the free 250 every 15 minutes, the daily spins, or the tasks. Thats baby money tho

Our games are as random as we can possibly make them. You've said it yourself, the way any casino game is set up gives the house an edge simply by letting the natural odds play out, and this is true for Four Kings just as it is for any real casino.

When we visit casinos we don't go in with the expectation of profiting every time but for enjoying ourselves, and I'm sure we're all familiar with leaving the casino with a lighter wallet than we entered with.

lol yeah i noticed they put a tin foil hat on me in the game when I said it!! I was like wtf. On another note, I thought big companies were getting in trouble for loot crates because they're gambling. Since you can buy chips and literally gamble them, isnt that illegal?

What possible motivation could they have for "rigging" any of the games? Thats ridiculous.
You had a run of bad luck, or you play bad. Thats casino life for you.

pretty much

They have no reason to rig anything when mathematically speaking the odds end up in their favor either way.

I just want to make a comparison with the Blackjack in Red dead redemption 2, even if it's not a casino simultation. I play mostly that game in Four Kings, and guess what... it's the same thing !
When I got 20 the dealer got 20, when I tried to double down on 12 I got 22, I got many 15 or 16, etc...
Not always of course, but sometimes you win, sometimes you loose !

The only differences in RDR2 are that the NPC at the table are getting far more blackjacks than you and that you can bet 2 cents instead of betting at least 50 chips in Four Kings. If the amount bet might be psychological for most people, when you loose 50% of your holdings because of one wrong bet, you loose the same way.

So, if you're not sure about how a game works in Four Kings, and I mean by playing it at least a few hours, bet the minimum and then increase your bet slowly until you loose. Of course if you can split cards or double your bet you can do it but remember you have always 50% of chance to loose your bet and 50% to win.

If Rockstar made a Blackjack that works the same way that in Four Kings, Digital Leisure couldn't get it wrong.

I enjoyed this post. It gives a great perspective on how these games are. Sometimes I think we lose our focus on the fact that we aren't betting live money in real life.

I've never had the notion that 4K 'rigs' their games and machines, nor do I gamble in real life (did when I was younger but always lost.) So i've really only developed an opinion from these games. Over time, there are a few parameters I have learned to accept and respect.

Firstly, the point you made in regards to betting power. I feel it is easy to place bets we may not be able to virtually back at that given time and we start to go for broke. We know a risky bet can pull us ahead quicker without weighing out the odds of the game itself. Guilty! :pandastunned:

Second, I believe it is essential that games are geared toward longetivity because of that virtual money factor. We can't do anything else with our $1 million chips but play, and it would get monotonous if winning odds were higher than losing. I think it may be important to 4K to maintain excitement and suspense in coming out of coldstreaks, along with the hotstreaks.

Lastly, i think we must be willing to accept that this is a programmed simulator. Just the fact that our 'next random number' may be already determined and stored in memory really gives the realistic perspective. No matter how grand the algorithms the developers write, the true test is how well the randomising functions can cycle through them. Every game will have it's bounds and that alone may limit variety.

Though it feels like poker gets some wild boards consecutively (you could call a flush or a straight and most often you will be right), at least there is consistency in how many cards are in a deck.

We need to get a stats or math major on this game to run statistics just for fun. I am sure you are out there somewhere :pandastunned: give me a couple semesters and maybe I'll do it for extra credit LOL.

I'm just going to go ahead and lock this thread. There is no point of going in circles...and honestly, we'll just keep locking these threads if/when they pop back up. I'll break it down with the following points we've made for the last three or so years.

The game is not rigged.
The game is for entertainment.
The game is free to play.

Thanks for playing either way!
