How do you reset password?
You have to type a new password twice and apparently, you'll get an e-mail confirmation, but I get the error "invalid e-mail address" when I try to submit a new password. I have contacted support and they initially responded, but it has been a week now with no follow-up. Does support usually take long to respond?

Yeah, they responded in a day the first time, but after I gave them the credentials they asked for, I never heard from them again.

You have to understand they work as every other enterprise, so you can expect to have answers from monday to friday, not in the weekend and not always! :)
They're always very quick to answer, so give them time and you'll see they'll help you as soon as possible! :D

Very quick to answer? I contacted them on Monday, it's already Sunday. The soonest they can respond is tomorrow - that's already a full week! I get that they are not a big developer, but that kind of response time is unheard of in the digital age. Other companies will at least send you an automated response with an estimated time of when you can expect a response. I don't understand why they couldn't have just done the standard "forgotten password" feature in the first place. Things become standards when they work.

Strange indeed!
I can only suggest you to write to them again, maybe they've lost your message during these days (they had some issues with a bug and they had to refund some players)!
Anyway I repeat it's not a common thing, I'm sorry you had to experience it on your own skin.

it happens to me every time i reset my password... gave up. they need to fix it but apparently refuse to do so

I'm glad you chimed in. The weather here has finally gotten nice again, and now I know to stop wasting my time with this game or trying to contact support. Thanks for saving me some trouble.

Your password can be reset from the login menu by selecting Forgot/Change Password. You'll then be prompted to type and confirm your new password. After doing so, make sure you follow the link in your confirmation email so the change takes effect.

having a similar issue myself played this back when it was in early access and sort of played it some as well over on the PS4. ended up playing it over there more. Everytime I try to change my Password I get the same problem. Ended up locking my account for a while as i attempted to access it too many times today.
