Unplayable
Huge FPS issue on live version.

I tried and enjoyed the demo version, it was running smoothly at around 150fps.
I bought the live version on release, huge expectation for this game but it is now completely unplayable. 10fps max, image lag, sound lag.
I'm sooooo disapointed.

Hey, I'm really sorry about that! Can you please share your PC specs and what input devices you have connected? For some reason I think it might be a gamepad handling issue, as that's the area that changed the most since the demo.

I'm running
Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz 4cores 8threads
32Go RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080

Playing on keyboard, no controller.

Thank you! Could I ask you to share your log file? There could be some clues in there.

The log file will be located at:
C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\LocalLow\Apparition Games\Pinball Spire\Player.log

If it's too big to post here please email it to tom (at) apparitiongames (dot) com

If anyone else runs into the same issue where the demo ran fine but the full game is chugging, please add your info here as well as your log file if possible!

All I can say is that zooming out will yield some FPS dropping. The one huge room with the controllable piston has a massive drop to 29FPS on an i7-9700K/RTX 3060 combo. Monitor is 1080p240, with the game set to borderless, v-sync off.

I'm definitely gonna look into some further optimizations. I know that particular room can get choppy if you zoom out too far.

I know it's been a while but I just released a major performance overhaul of Pinball Spire. The performance should be pretty solid now even when zooming out all the way in the largest rooms.
