Needs different default keys, keybinding options.
The key choices are off in the game. It's not that the control is awful; the controls lack basic ergonomic considerations.

There are two problems:

1) I shouldn't have to use both hands. It's an accessibility issue at the least for people who can't use both hands, and doesn't make much sense.

2) The keys are poorly located. Even if I am using two hands, I have to move my hands way out of normal typing position to use the flippers. Then the remaining keys are out of comfortable reach.

It would make a lot more sense to have the flippers on two keys on the left side, maybe A and F.

I think the best option is move the keys closer, allow rebinding, and have a couple of default control schemes.

Also possibly left and right mouse click could be used for control (and there's no reason not to have gamepad controls).

Thanks, Kyle! I'll be adding key customization to address this, and potentially looking at mouse controls too (though I don't think it'll be possible to map everything to the mouse).

There's no need to map EVERYTHING to the mouse, but allowing left/right would be good. Depending on the framework, you may be able map mouse clicks interchangeably with key presses without much work. Just giving the user an option is always a plus.

Many times knocked on the Win button below Z when playing the game. It would be really good to set other controls.

I'm working on the key customization as we speak. There will be a decent level of customization, including mouse controls.

Not everything has to be on the mouse but left and right flippers will make me buy this. Have most of the other pinball games Demon Tilt etc. Right up my alley.

I had no idea about the default keys, I just intuitively used shifts for flippers and it worked (so I guess maybe it's changed now?). However the extra keys such as C and V are completely unergonomic, it took me too many tries to exit the last level. I am also not convinced it will be a very good pinball game if it keeps adding some weird mechanics (spells?) with extra keys, but we'll see.

Honestly, I find the shift keys the most natural as well, but I couldn't make them the default because of the conflicting Windows sticky keys[www.microsoft.com] feature.

However, the full game will allow you to rebind the keys, so you can use the shift keys if you like (they're no longer bound by default). And you'll be able to bind mouse buttons too if you want to mix and match.
