Paint Can Knockouts

I'm fairly early on in the game and don't know much about it, but I do know that I've been through the paint can knockout tutorials, when the enemy has their back turned it was M1+M2 to knock them out, when patrolling it was M1+Space to do it, but now that I've actually passed the little tutorials for it, it no longer seems to work. Is there something I'm missing?

It's semi broken, but you truly do it with M1+Space....
You just have to be close enough, stop and then quickly press W and M1+Space at the same time. It works every time - for me. You really have to work on your timing, it's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Yeah i forgot the sneak up thing after i while, I just had mad punchup With the entire game lol.
P.S if you go to knock someone out and end up "Grappling" them, you can throw them over a close/ high ledge for an easy kill.

If it were real life, i would be infamously know as "That guy who throws everyone off random rooftops"
Felt pretty bad about it in the end but oh well, its only a game.
