About the dialogue fonts...

I noticed the different fonts for the other dialogue options for VTMB in screenshots of the game, but haven't experienced them for myself. I read that the resolution change affects this. Is that true? If so, how? It seems most likely that the unofficial patches got rid of it somehow. Also, what can I do to restore those fonts? I wont get the full effect since I'm not playing malkavian anymore, but still, I'd like to see a comprehensive explanation of what goes into affecting this, and possibly what I can do to fix them.

You need >640 res and to be Malkavian, its only Malkavians that have the crazy font because they are insane as hell.
As for the other font types there is only Bold, Italic and White, Pink, Red, Green and Blue text from memory which all come up at certain times, eg Red Bold text with some dots before it comes up when you can use a discipline, Pink Italic comes up when using Seduction, Bold Green for intimidate and so on. (ok its been 5 years since i played it so i could be slightly off)
But as long as your Above 640 you should get a few diffrent font effects (but not diffrent fonts unless your a child of malkov)

The quickest way to test if the fonts are working correctly is during the tutorial quick save just before the Dialogue Help window comes up, it will show at least 3 diffrent font effects when explaining how seduction etc work. Hope that helps. :)

My current resolution is 1280x720, that's >640 I'm fairly sure. That means it's something other than my resolution, which, I can only assume means it's attributed to the unofficial patches messing with it, or the fact that I don't have a "game default" resolution, because of the resolution patcher included in the unofficial patch.

Sorry for bumping such an old discussion, but I too have this issue and would also like to know if there's a solution, or at the very least what is causing this.
