Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Favorite race to play?
Ok... I admit that I'm a huge Malkavian fan... But when playing this, I feel like a straight up Fishmalk (RP term for a malkavian who is there to be funny). Yet, I still love playing as a Malkavian despite this. What's your favorite race in this game? Popular mods count, if that's what you go for.

Well 1.Its a clan not a race 2.I enjoy the Clan Brujah & Clan Malkavian. Gonna try Tremere soon.

Yes, yes, I know. Being politcally correct is not something I'm known for. I've never tried Brujah, though.
Malkavian is definately the best. With the added whispering effects from Wesp's unofficial patch it can be truely creepy at some points. Tremere is probably my second favorite. Who doesn't enjoy boiling people's blood : )
Toreador. <3
My favourite is Gangrel at the moment, though I havn't played many others. With fortitude at level 5, I'm pretty much immune to all firearms. (except those incendiary shotgun rounds, they're nasty)
Malk. The dialogues are hilarious and the disciplines are great: Obsfuscation + Auspex = inescapable ninja of doom. Also you can make people believe they're a turtle. Did I say the dialogues are awesome?

Brujah are fun when you just want to Celerity your fist in somebody's head, and Ventrue are damn near indestructible with Fortitude and Presence. Nosferatus are cool for a time, but get thin fast, with all the sewer-hopping you do. Tremere and Toreador are just meh, and Gangrel suck hard in this game, which is too bad since they're my favorite clan on paper. But yeah, changing into a bat-thing isn't my cup of tea.
Malkavian with out a doubt
Venture is my favorite though with both ventrue and tremere I have the gripe that Heather's death is very weak for them since you should have been able to intervene with your blood magic/psionic domination.
Nosferatu all the way, scaring old ladies and being sneaky.
Tremere for gameplay. By the end, you feel unstoppable.

Although I'm LOVING the malkavian (my current playthrough)

I'm playing him as both kinda funny (deliberately making fun of most people when I can), but also as a seer. He has a plan. He knows what's going to happen, and how to best set himself up to win in the end. And so he treats everyone else as fools.

In fact, I'm going for an ending that most people would find stupid. But me? I see it as a way to dodge Gehenna. Time will tell if it works or not.

My first time through was a Nosferatu...and...I think that may have been a mistake. I missed out on a lot of quests and I had a HUGE amount of trouble with the endgame. But still, being able to fun full tilt while invisible and do a running-impale-stealth-kill and not be seen is awesome. :D

Ventrue is my absolute favorite. It offers the minimal amount of challenge without being boring. Second favorite is Malkavian, which is fun just because of the dialog changes. Third will most likely be Nosferatu, though I haven't finished a playthrough with one yet.

I just like the alternate ability to talk your way through practically everything combined with plenty of intelligence. In Fallout: New Vegas Speech skill is OP and so is Intelligence. It almost seems that way in Vampire: TMB too, but there are too many opportunities in it for ANY skill set to take advantage of.
