(Patch recommends clean/new game install, bewarned!)
...OR just follow these instructions for same effect: quote:
"In your main vampire folder find a file called autoexec.cfg
Open it in notepad or any other text editor.
Copy and paste the following into it and then save
bind ''KP_PLUS'' ''+camin''
bind ''KP_MINUS'' ''+camout''
bind ''KP_UPARROW'' ''cam_yaw 180''
bind ''KP_PGUP'' ''cam_yaw 225''
bind ''KP_RIGHTARROW'' ''cam_yaw 270''
bind ''KP_PGDN'' ''cam_yaw 315''
bind ''KP_DOWNARROW'' ''cam_yaw 0''
bind ''KP_END'' ''cam_yaw 45''
bind ''KP_LEFTARROW'' ''cam_yaw 90''
bind ''KP_HOME'' ''cam_yaw 135''
bind ''KP_INS'' ''pause''
bind ''KP_DEL'' ''screenshot''
Now load up a game, make sure you have your Num Lock on and when you press 1 - 9 on the number pad, the camera will rotate. You can press the 0 or Ins key to pause the game and the period, decimal, or Del key (depending on what you call it) to take a screenshot. The plus and minus key controls the zoom. " end quote
I found that info on this page: http://forum.rpg.net/archive/index.php/t-251731.html
thanks for Juriel who posted it there!
note:the autoexec file is in you in Vampire/cfg folder! and if you can`t open it just clicking, open note pad first and then navigate to open it :) and make backup copy of the file in case anything goes wrong of course!
An easier option is... go to Options, Controls, click on the bottom which are the Unbound camera controls, and... bind keys to them, what I did was Bind the 2 to zoom out, the 8 to zoom in, the 4 to turn left, the 6 to turn right, and the 5 to restore. No need to mess with any files. Also no need for Num lock
