Could have bought it on GOG. I've been meaning to as that's the superior version, DRM free and pre-patched.
OP- You might be nostalgic but you ain't old. Late 20s you say? Wait a few years and everyone under about 25 will look almost like a kid to you. This is just your first taste of becoming out of date. Don't feel bad, with the rapid change of culture in the last century (can't sell new fashion and music without the old one becoming dated and uncool) you're not the first or last person to go through it. Don't count yourself out for being "old" even when you are but especially while you're still in your 20s.
Yeah the world sucks right now, but the answer is to try to make tomorrow better rather than wallow in a past our selective memories tell us was better than it was.
I'm put in mind of some lyrics from a band who's posters would have fit right in plastered on the city walls in Bloodlines. Namely Gogol Bordello's song "Ultimate" from the 2007 album "Super Taranta!", Quote:
There were never any good old days.
They are today, they are tomorrow!
It's a stupid thing we say
Cursing tomorrow with sorrow!
