YOU ONLY DIE ONCE A NIGHT without stress or Celerity
If you are like me and you absolutely hate this quest because it just seems impossible to do without some serious luck or celerity 3, you will appreciate my solution.

*this will only work for characters that already are fairly proficient with firearms*

The first thing you have to do is nothing at all and just don't visit Romero until you have better long range weapons, I recommend the STEYR AUG.

Once you have it (and near full ammo with it) accept the quest, ignore all the zombies and look for your SNIPING POSITION. The only working one is the corner opposite the main entrance to the left.
Jump on the small gravestone, then hop onto the bigger, crossshaped one, from there leap onto the small ledge in the corner of the wall. You may want to find this spot and try it out BEFORE accepting the quest.

Here you will notice that you have both gates in perfect view, so nothing is stopping you from just standing there sniping without moving an inch until the 5 minutes are over. Weeell, except for one really annoying added difficulty. You will have to jump to actually shoot over the fence on top of the wall at the zombies near the lower gate.

Still, with the Steyr it's actually very easy. No zombies will ever be able to reach you so you can ignore all except for the ones going for the gates. Using one shot per jump AND THE SCOPE!!! to quickly kill lower gate zombies as soon as they enter your field of vision, then switching fire mode to quickly turn around and killing the upper gate zombies with headshots or rapid fire, and repeating that until the clock runs out, should see you safely through those damn 5 minutes if you are a somewhat decent shot.

I don't think this solution is an exploit as sniping should be a completely valid tactic when faced with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zombie-horde. For malkavians and a couple of other, not-as-combat-oriented clans, it is probably the only way to complete this quest.

One last thing, I am using the unofficial patch 8.8, PLUS version, so I don't know if it works with any other setup.

Have fun.

Oh and if you want, you can even wait until your return from the Giovanni mansion, as the occult item you get there will award you an extra XP for this quest.

I nailed it with my Malk and Melee just by alternating between the two gates... Clear one, sprint to the other, clear it, sprint to the other. Just one or two zombies on a gate won't do a lot of damage to it; so as long as you move between the two regularly to stop a big group from clumping up it should be pretty straight-forward =/

Another trick is F9 every 30 seconds. Circulate between gates every 30-50 seconds. Pressing f12 rather than replaying 5 minutes is a little less frustrating

Yeah I just ran back and forth and cleared the gates. Used my melee skills with both a malk and tremere. This is still an interesting way to do it with guns.

If you are a Malkavian then let your mass hallucination Shine ;) Go near the just use mass hallucination then run to the other gate. repeat the cycle. Bring blood packs if necessary and be sure that youre blood points are full duh XD
