What are the details for Wesp's patch?

Wesp has a readme that details every change in every version of the UP. I imagine there is a similar one for TPG, but I have no idea. It sounds like this "mega mod" is different from UP and TPG, because TPG isn't supposed to be anything but bug fixes. If wesp is right and it's just new character textures, it should be possible to combine with any mod.

The thing is, it doesn't appear to work. It just breaks the textures rather than altering them.

checked out tessras forum seems to be a lot of nude patch stuff I have nothing against nude paches and would like to see more sexuality I would like a mod where the player could hug velvet for example but I would be carfule about downloading anything from sorces other than steam . one time I downloaded what i thought was going to be a game from another websight and ended up with a virus that redrected me to a spam websight that kept on asking for my credit card.. If all you want is nude paches basicley every female game character somwhere on the internet has a nude patch . It does not seem worth the risk to me. As from videos (there is a nude pach video for the games bloodrayne and blade kitten on youtube) when these nude paches do work they dont seem to alter the behavior of the character. and bear in mind whoever tessras is they need to find some way to pay to have the forum on line . nothing on the internet is free.

Install the True patch first (latest is True_Patch_Gold_FINAL_with_Hotfix8) on a clean game install
It has to be moved out of the steam folder (ie: c:\games) and run with steam service off.

Make a shortcut from vampire.exe and place it on the desktop and start the game from there.

Don't confuse the new shortcut with the steam shortcut that might also be on your desktop.

This is a BIG mod and it really does need a BIG computer in order to function without a hitch. Truth be told, nine out of ten problems that people have had with the Mega-Mod have been due to their computers being too weak to handle it. If you own a proper gaming rig, then you'll have no troubles at all with the Mega-Mod. If you don't have a proper gaming rig... well... give it a try if you want to, but remember that I warned you. And don't try to send me a bill if your sub-par computer catches on fire and has a meltdown. I accept no responsibility for the fates of the hardware-challenged. tongue.gif

(4) You must be using a widescreen monitor. This mod package is designed to run with anamorphic (widescreen) rendering enabled. This is not optional. Fortunately, nearly everyone uses a widescreen monitor these days.

I further recommend that you avoid any sound cards which were built around the Creative Labs X-Fi chipset, as the X-Fi line of audio cards are simply ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and are known to crash (especially on computers using a 64-bit operating system). Incidentally, this is a HARDWARE problem that all of the X-Fi cards have and it can NOT be fixed by changing the audio card drivers. X-Fi cards just flat-out suck... period. So sell yours to a dumb kid and then go buy yourself a better audio card. Preferably one built on some version of the C-Media chipset (HT Omega, Asus Xonar, etc.)

I'm not 100% sure.

sorry to dig this thread but i wanted to say thanks to headholo for the link but also ask if anyone actualy managed to make this work with the steam version, i installed the "True_Patch_Gold" then the mega mod but the game crashs when i try to start a new game... actualy just with the true patch the game crashs

I used it for a while. It did add a bunch of stuff, but some of that stuff didn't work very well. For example, some characters had mismatched audio. There were additional quests, but some of them were unfinished or just broken. After a few hours, I just uninstalled the game and re-installed clean.

But then i saw this thread which i had forgotten about ,i'll have to dig out some of my old dvds if you still need that 4.3 version.
I''m pretty sure i backed it up as i do that with most mods and update patches.

Not sure why i didn't get notifications about your request at the time.
But i do have probs. sometimes receiving steam notifications ,i think it's my crappy 3g net connection.

I was wondering if maybe that tess mod needs to be installed after a particular version of the True patch ,seeing as it's dated around 2014.

Maybe the mod will work better with whatever True patch was available at the time of the mods release or maybe it doesn't matter.

I'll try asking Tess and see if i get a reply.

Shame really as it's only people who like it that will be downloading it.

I might extract both versions and run an sfv check to see if there's any different files in them.

If some others can keep backups of these at least they will always be around if other gamers ask for them.
Doesn't matter if you like or hate the mod ,it's just good to preserve content ,especially mods that can disappear from the internet never to be found again.

Wait so does the mod work with the unoffical patch or do you have to get the gold patch? Thanks again for the link cause I could only find the 2012 version.
