VTMB movie/tv show

i think there should be a vtmb movie or tv show this is something i have been thinking about alot . it could be produced by jerry Bruckheimer and directed by the scott brothers scored by manson or maybe by some unknown ambiet electronica dj if it was a tv show each episode could focus on a different clan .

each clan would have its own problems and it could really show just how political and two faced vampires are .

if it was a movie it would have to maybe be altered from the main game story since there is so many clans to pick from and every body has their fav .

what do you guys think ?

I'm... not happy I know this... but there is a series specficially based on the pen and paper Vampire. It is called Kindred: The Embraced.

The popular name for it in my circle of friends when it aired was Kindred: 90210.

I know that isn't really what you meant, but any new show or movie would probably have to contend with that legacy.

I'd watch it though.

i am well aware of the mess that was the orginal atempt at making a vtmb tv show and i can see why they cancled it after one or two seasons i think . hence why any tv show made would have to be true to the game as possible hence why it would each episode would evolve around a different clan . another thing id like to see activision do is do a remake of the game with modern graphics and so forth

I have only seen a couple episodes of Kindred so I never really got to get what it was all about but I figured it was spun off the game. As far as comparing it to 90210 you must not have watch vampire diaries. kind of like 90210 crossed with twilight. But at least they used more traditional vampires. As far as remaking the game that would be awsome. I just hope they add more dialog if the make a new 1 its funny as hell but it seem like in a lot of conversations it does not make a difference which response you choos your going to get the same answer

TV show ended because the head star, a Ventrue Prince of SF died in a motorcycle crash and they didnt want to continue on with a change in the main star.

Well it was an old 90's TV show and those compared to now were usually messes. Even still the show was great and I am sad that it ended. I hope that with the buzz that the MMO will create around the series once it finally comes out that they look into relaunching the series because I think with all the special effects we have now that it could be amazing... as long as Fox doesn't get there hands on it.

and you just know that they will lol sadly the state of the modern vampire has killed any love i felt for vamps modern vampires are no longer bad ass insted they ae queer sparkly things that dont drink blood . and so on and so on . what happen to the bad ass predatory vampires of the 80's and early to mid 90's

They are still there they are just overshadowed by the new ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones.

Well you guys probably know this already but as an alternative for this or if you just look for good vampire shows you might want to check out True blood, really gory and action focused, with not so much romance or melodrama involved (there is some but minimal). And a bit of sex too.

But yeah a series based on the videogame would be awesome.

Yep True Blood is pretty great in the mass of crap out there and I have to confess that I am a fan of Vampire Diaries as well :3

i have watched true blood as well as the orginals and i was not a fan i think my standards on what a vamp should be are just too high . i see vampires as being these slick stealthy predatory animals at the top of the food chain . yet hollywood and the mainstream sees them as something else more intouch with their humanity it is for this reason that i have recently started taking a liking to well lycans since they embrace that predatory side of themselves. even we as humans have supressed our natural predatory animal and stacked morals and a host of other crap into our daily lives to make us "feel bad" about doing certin things .

i own kindred i didnt think it was that bad of a show i remeber seeing a few eps when it aired on tv then when i found the dvd set i got that. true blood isnt bad and neither is the originals i hope they do make a new show and rep the malks in it
