If you´re smart about spending you´ll end the game with more money than you know what to do with. First off, complete the downtown quest involving the dance club in the old church ASAP. Once you´ve become a partner in the club you´ll get money every time a major quest point is completed, meaning a cool couple thousand by end game.

Keep your lockpicking skills and computer skills beyond a minimum since by late game you´ll be unlocking quite a few safes along the way. Also keep your persuade up since you´ll be able to convince quite a few people to give you money.

But if, as Daemon already explained, you´re looking to MINE money from somewhere, that´s a definite nope.

Edit: Also be careful about ammo. If you´re going to use guns, make sure you´re using the same type of guns your opponents are using so you can recover the bullets. With the exception of a certain stretch of sewer during one quest, you always want to keep a cap on wanton gun use until end game when you´ll want every clip of ammo you can carry.

I've played this before in the past but never really got too far. The furthest I got was just after the Elizabeth Great Dane mission, I'm currently trying to complete it. But still I will have to save my money up for when I need it. Thanks for the help.

Pro-tip: Listen to the password the cop tells you and use the computers and deck cams. It´ll save you a lot of trouble.

I should mention that I'm way past that bit already, I meant that I'm currnetly trying to complete the game.

In Santa Monica, when you get to the beach and BEFORE you free Lily from the blood bank, you can trick Cooper, the thinblood in the black shirt, into giving you HUNDREDS of dollars. If you're using the Plus patch on the beach to the left of their camp(left when you first walk down the ramps to get to them) right near the water under the pier you'll see a stake. If you have three blood bags, like the three you get for free from your haven's fridge, and I think a total Persuasion score of 4+ you can trick him into buying a "holy stake", "unicorn blood" and in the Plus patch "gum to erode his fangs."

The gum is located up in the area the murder happens, next to the arcade on the ground. If you trick him and tell him you'll sell him the stake, blood, and gum he'll say he needs to get the money. Leave the zone, go back, then sell him the gum($100), the three blood packs($100 each), and the stake($100, maybe $150). Then tell Cooper to go kill the "head vampire." Make sure to sell him the stake LAST because he wants to go kill the head vampire right after you do. All told, you lose an easily regained Humanity, but you get around $500 super easy.

Otherwise, the club quest for Venus in Downtown is a lifesaver. Also, raising your Haggle feat via the Finance skill can help as it makes vendors sell you things for less and buy things from you for more.

I'll keep that in mind for my next playthrough, I've just finished club quest today as well.

Pretty much everything these other posters have said, but also keep an eye out for pill bottles or rings and even car stereos! They sell for various prices and can be spotted with a high enough perception skill. Also, sell any weapons that you aren't interested in. You only need one pistol, and honestly the Uzi is terribly inaccurate and is easily outmatched by a well aimed boomstick. So that means you can sell all of the .38's and Uzi's you find! Same with tons of knives, tire irons and bats.

But that severed arm will be with you forever.

I store it in the drawer in my Santa Monica haven. Also selling all the crappy guns and melee weapons in the game is a pain. Go to where the fight was, pick up one .38. Go sell it for $7. Go back to where the fight was, pick up another, go sell it. Go back, get one, sell. Waaaay too much of a pain in the ass considering a lot of fights require you to pop in and out of zones with loading time.

If you want to use cheats, the console command is "money x"
x should be replaced with a number. I know "The Supreme Gentleman" above me resents cheating because he's a gentleman but sometimes being a bad boy is fun.

Eh, if that's how you want to play, go ahead. I just don't think it's necessary, especially for money, in this game since there's plenty of money to be found.

Did you come up with that cheat or was it already in the game?
