Earning Skyline Apartment

Hello!

So, I was told you get the Skyline Apartment (if not a wizard or nos) if you do the Elizabeth Dane with no killing and stealth.

I did this, and I didn't get it. Thinking that I might have did something wrong, I went back into my autosaves to do it again, and it was never mentioned by the jester.

Is there a way to brute-force activate it? or do I get it at a later point. Even though it is such a minor detail, I am abit of a completionist and I want my just reward.

Asking Lacroix about his history might give you extra "favor point".

Yeah plus be polite to him and do things without question. If not I think he offers it later on.

Yeah, I accidently had him dominate me to do the mission. Pressed wrong button, that might be it, need to do more favours. Thanks!

I just got the key now, after doing the 'email quest' and after looking for the sleepy primogen.

Looks like I panicked over nothing. So evil to be told I lost my opportunity to get it.

Normally if you don't get it after the Dane it means you're not getting it. Maybe there's something that allows you a "one last chance" or something or you changed your behavior with LaCroix early enough.

I had read about a later chance somewhere, but for me it never came. That is why I didn't mention it.

I used the dialog editor to see where I was at on the Lacroix 'approval rating', I think I had just missed qualifying for the haven because I didn't ask about his past life. Was a Ventrue as well, but because I didn't know when the second chance was I just kept waiting, and waiting.

honestly, the skyline apartmets are no better than the ♥♥♥♥ hole that you start with. dont think that yoiu re missing anything. for some clans, it is actually bad. tsimisce for an example, is a pain in the ass. it is just thesame ♥♥♥♥, in a prettier apartment, NOT something to fret about.

I remember when I first played I played nice with La Croix so I could get the apartment, and I never got the apartment in the end. Second time I got it when I went full ass kissing mode and beat the Dane mission with full stealth.

Functionally its the same as your old apartment but it stucks you didn't get it.

I know this isn't going to help OP, but hopefully it helps whoever looks coming for this answer. I think doing the werewolf blood quest before finishing the Dane might also help.

Also, the apartment has an item that makes Discipline Duration 25% longer.

This guy is a moron. A) obviously, the PC can't be a Tzimisce. B) in order to get your ghoul, a haven upgrade is REQUIRED. C) Skyline Apartments, and the clan-specific havens, comes with a free occult item, which kicks ass. Skyeline gets a thing that increases the duration of all disciplines. Nosferatu get a thing that more than doubles the duration of Obfuscate, and Tremere get a thing that more than doubles the damage of Thaumaturgy.

A and C are true, but B isn't, because you can get a ghoul in your original haven too...
