Necromantic Milligan bug.
Hello. I am doing the quest Necromantic, but when I am about to send down Milligan (the reporter) down to the basement, my game simply has a screen of him standing still by a bookcase. I have all patches, and I am playing as a brujah. Any fix?

What do you mean by all patches? You should only ever install one! As for the bug, try ALT-Tab out and in, or open the consoles, type "camera_kill" and if that doesn't help "frenzyplayer".

Also Mulligan didn't move, but that doesn't matter as I am not really going to Skyeline. It finished the objective though, so thanks a bunch!

Hi!
I have the same problem. I tried using both commands, but they do nothing, i am still watching Milligans back. The frenzy one made the screen turn red and the red bar appear, but nothing else. The "camera_kill" did not do anything.
Could someone help me with this?

I had this issue as well so I just killed him instead of talking to him.

This is how I fixed my play-through if you guys ever get suck on this part. Wesp5 is right do the "camera_kill" by using the command window and it should unlock you from the camera. Don't worry if he is still standing there you can still turn in the quest. If this does not work keep trying or keep messing with it until it does. As far as the "frenzyplayer" this unlocks as well but I have not a clue how to un-"frenzyplayer". I also believe you can just kill him and you will still get the quest update. So I hope this helps all of you guys out there, as for me I really wanted to feed him to Pisha lol

Happened to me on 9.9 plus patch. I did however not pickup the business card before going to him (I did not see it anywhere, so used to Malk vision, so I went without it). camera_kill works

The camera is stuck because the door is locked and sometimes he is too stupid to unlock his own door. So he just stands there.

Unlock the door before you talk to him.

Very true NPCs normally do their own thing not doing what we might to solve a problem, we have to show them solutions. Normally if my game freezes I use ~ Then the Escape Key when I have the -console and it seems to allow my character movement again.

If you use the -console and get items from it to exit it if you had and it does not work then use the [Escape] Key press it once and it restarts your character.

When I talk to Milligan and cut scene just before the start I quickly open the console and write "camera_kill". This worked for me. I try other solution but they didn't work for me, just this. I hope that helps, good luck with bug. :2017stickycrab:

This bug with the frozen cutscene still occurs on the unofficial patch 10.0.

"camera kill" works like a charm.

How come there hasn't been a fix for this yet? I ran into the same problem and I use camera kill and it freezes my game more.

This bug seems to be random, what I don't get on my system I can't fix. As for the freezing this is a known consoles issue. Just type "chareditor" and continue from there...

Okay I did all that but the guy is still frozen and I fail the quest all the time. Is there just no way to fix that issue with him standing there?
