Check your quest log. That'll tell you what active quests you have in each hub zone.

yeah problem is i have the quest in downtown for la croix it says talk too issac but when i go back too complete it the guard says i cant see him yet.. so im kinda trapped in the void on that one..

the only other quests i have are some santa monica ones that i havent bothered with klike helping e find lilly.

Well talking to Isaac should give you something to do iirc. If not, your game may have bugged out, especially if you continued an old save after installing whatever version of the UP you're using.

yeah thats what i thought it might have been.. i have talked too issac he gave me some occult thing as a reward but then im stuck.. im running 8.9 unoffical maybe ill try patch too 9.1 and hope it fixes it

The quest to go to nosferatu lair is probably still ongoing, I believe its the one you got first from LaCroix, when you unlocked Hollywood. Quest to talk to Isaac after Kings way is just a separate one, and one that doesn't lead to anything special iirc, or at least to quests related to Nossie lair.

You can only accomplish LaCroix original "find Gary" quest after Kings Way quest shows you the way to the sewers/barrens. This quest should show under "downtown" I believe. You also cannot access mission-specific areas like the barrens unless you have the quest in the first place, so if you can get to barrens, it should be fine.

For clarity, can you list what quests you currently have for downtown/hollywood?

ill check in a minute so what your saying is that the kings way quest is competely seperate from the nos lair quest.. and im just being a derp and missing talking too someone.. gimme a sec im patching too 9.1 at this moment as well.. so hopefully i dont break it entirely. i think my problem is that i done the kings way quest too get in the good books with hollywood but its not triggering the second part of the la crox quest. as its still saying tlak too issac but theres no other potions other then ask questions and i think i asked everything i could

ERRRRRRRRR WARNING

you should not install patches midgame. If you install any of the unofficial patches you should start the game again from the beginning... All sorts of bugs can happen if you don't.

The King's Way quest MUST be completed to find Gary for LaCroix. After you defeat the boss in the King's Way mansion/house, you find the entrance to the sewers which leads you to questing in there. You can only get into the sewers completing King's Way first.I also wouldn't ignore any sidequests you can find. The extra XP they provide is very, very helpful especially in places like the sewers.

ah ok.. i thought i had too look around the sewers.. thanks for the help.. i never play nos so i dont sewer dive. i was just hoping it would be a bit easyer too find like a quest inbetween letting me know too search the swers.. guess i forgot what these old games are like lol

If starting over with 9.1 check the plus boxes and try playing a female Malkavian...sove very hot armor looks with it. They even make Jack blush!! lol
Bloodartist Oct 3, 2014 @ 12:23pm
Completely unrelated to topic: I have to admit that female malk clothes are vastly superior to male malk clothes imo. And also I was trying to say the same thing as gentleman MOA.

I mean... [fc07.deviantart.net]
(specifically the last biker chick costume :P)

malks are awesome my fav vamp.. epc with voices enabled.. end game male looks like the mad hatter its such a laugh
Bloodartist Oct 3, 2014 @ 10:58pm
Yeah, but what if I don't want the character to look silly? The female malk biker chick costume looks cool, not silly. Same for the very first female malk costume. I like that.

This game did no favors to the general resentment of fish-malks in VtM the tabletop. Mental illnesses are not supposed to be funny.
