is there a way to skip this mission? please help
Yeah I'm a bit jumpy
So am I but it's the best mission in the game IMHO.
There is a console command to receive the quest item but seeing as though you're a vampire; just remember ghosts can't hurt you and you're way more powerful than the average player character :)
Haha, I love the Benny Hill Theme and it does make everything seem far more comical I guess :)
Why did you even play this game in the first place if you cant handle horror and want to skip major quests???
I absolutely love this game though
For the Haunted House, remember you are saving the Ghost, if that helps.
Good Luck!
1 - Enable the console by editing your game shortcut : Add -console to the field named "target", like "...\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console
2 - Load your save
3 - Open the console (with ~ or ²)
4 - Copy Paste : __main__.FindPlayer().SetQuest("Hotel",2)
5 - Type : "Chareditor" to exit the console without bugs.
or (also in console)
give item_g_ghost_pendant
give item_g_oh_diary
give item_p_research_lg_dodge
pc.SetQuest("Hotel",2)
G.Therese_Quest = 2

For me, this and most horror games have become nothing but all to literal haunted house simulators complete with spooky whispers. The whole Sabbat quest line reminds me of the original medieval pumpkin level, though it's entertaining setting up the "scare" cams to point in odd directions then look at the monitors. I've been bouncing back and forth revisiting games this summer and like every year I can't renew that spark I had when I was younger.
Thankfully bloodlines has an intriguing story which is what saves horror games for me. I'm also looking forward to the upcoming release.
