Toggling Discipline Levels
Hey folks,

Does anyone know the key for toggling the active level of a discipline? For example, if you have Celerity two, but want to use it in public without risking a masquerade violation, how do you toggle it to level 1 (and back again)?

There's a key or way to do this. I knew it once. Just can't seem to recall or find it online.

Thanks in advance

D

try the K key? (Anti. mod) for hot key assignment.

Just to be clear, I'm not asking how to switch between disciplines (from blood buff to celerity to blood heaing and so on), I'm asking how to lower or raise the level of the discipline I want to use. Again, my example of celerity is relevant. If I have celerity trained to 3, by default, when I activate celerity, it will activate at level 3, meaning I could NEVER use it in locations where I had to uphold the masquerade.

There IS a way to lower the active discipline to 1 so as not to suffer a masquerade violation. I just can't remember the key or method.

In the case of things like Celerity, Potence, and Resilience or other powers where raising the level only buffs it rather than giving you a new ability, no, once you have Celerity 3 you're stuck at Celerity 3. You lose access to the "weaker" levels when you upgrade the powers.

Believe it or not, there IS/was a way to lower the level you're using. Whether it was Wesp's patch or not, there IS a way.

I don't know any...

Thanks Wesp, all. Would it be worth including one? Or should people just stop using Celerity in masquerade areas once they raise it to level 2?
That is part of the game imo...knowing when using Disciplines openly is a no-no/a Masquerade Violation. It's not like they don't include plenty of Redemption opportunities throughout the game.

Too many redemption opportunities IMO. Most people never violate all the Masquerades on their first playthrough.

Good point. My first time I think I only landed two Violations the entire game, so of course they got Redeemed rather quickly.
