Gimble's Prosthetics locked door within basement

So I think the chopped up body with Gimble's was a guy named Mcgee? Not sure if I mixed him up with the survivor or not but yeah, door is locked, no option to lock pick. Any way to find a key to open the door?

Not to my knowledge. Depending on how you dealt with Gimble you may also be unable to enter Gimble's room (not that there is any cool item hidden in there).

k, twice now I just had to kill him, each time his worthless room was opened for me but that lock symbol over that locked door keeps bothering me as if there is a key to unlock it somewhere.

You don't need to open that door. The surviving guy tells you to go tell Kilpatrick what went down and that he quits. The survivor went to go get the cops(no they don't show up) so you just go to Kilpatrick and get your reward.
