solution has been found. there is a Option in the Settings "mouse look" which wasnt checked.
I haven't verified that every button can be assigned to every option, just that I have never found one I couldn't assign. The console even complains if I accidentally press a mouse button that isn't assigned.
the software that did come with my mouse only controlled weight and speed. even my evga mouse same the buttons function as numbers on keyboard. either way I make due. my point is that even if most controls aren't ideal to what we are wishing or wanting there's always a work around in some way. I never found the game unplayable is what I mean. Camera controls for me personally not so bad. I have vertigo too and this game doesn't trigger it either.
