@Violet someone is asking for espanol in the pinned thread.
Alright I'll check it out :)
If your Persuasion is high enough you can talk him down and make him realize his family would hate what he's become.
Usually they involve working for other vampires to stop abandonded Ghouls from blabbing that they are a Ghoul, sending back the reporter to be eaten by the vampire in the abandonded hospital, etc. (Both of those are in Chapter 2) But there are a lot of quests that do give you mascarade redemption. Some do have a cost which is usually humanity. But for the most part they dont cost you humanity.
The quest to stop the Ghoul from blabbing at Venus's club in the downtown district can be talked through without loosing your humanity. Just send her to San Diego instead of killing her or threatening her and you will get humanity and mascarade redemption.
Every chapter has a few redemption quests along with quests that give you humanity. Just check the link above to find out. That link does have spoilers though so use at your own risk. They have humanity and mascarade redemptions or losses in caps if you want to just skim through to find out which quests have them.
Pretty much if you find your self on a quest that involves sillencing a kind that has witnessed something is going to give you mascarade redemption.
Even with my high persuasion characters, I've only chosen this once. Getting rid of him seems like the best choice to me.
