We're still working hard on both single player and multiplayer, and we have some great news for the next update involving the core mechanics of the game, such as hacking.

I disagree completely! The beauty and art of the original UI is lost which fitted much better to the mysterious gothic setting. You are repeating the error of the Thief reboot here!

Haha, you may not be aware that the UP is my project ;)! In my opinion for the SP part at least if they want to recreate the whole original game, they need to include the HUD too. Otherwise it won't really be a RESTORATION PROJECT. They can always use the new UI for MP or other things though, I wouldn't mind that...
