Unfortunately, the server's 2400 baud modem is broken. In all fairness to the free download site a lot of people are probably trying to get the patch like I am. Anybody know a server that has the patch and is usable?

I have downloaded the patch, but I keep getting an error stating something along the lines of "This program is incompatible with the operating system, check to see if there is a (x32) or or (x64) version" etc,

So... Is there a x64 version of the patch or is what is the fix for installing this patch

yer sorry bout that mate forgot to mention the server lil slow i had to use a download manager client (dap) n still only got 300kb's took bout 45 mins to download

gday ive installed the game on 2 diffrent pcs w7x64 an w8.1 x64 n had minimal troubles tho with windows 8 i did have to set the game combatability to win xp sp2 n run steam as admin.

you just need this 9.0 version. it has the official patch 1.2 stuff in it. There should be a readme about this explaining it somewhere, I forget where.

Just need to remember to tell steam not to keep vampire bloodlines up to date, otherwise things can get messy when steam thinks files have changed.
