Problem during "The ghost haunts at midnight" questline

Hey guys. When I return from the haunted hotel to The Asylum in order to give Theresa the necklace, I pick the Galery Noir quest form her sister and all just fine, but I also get stuck on this part because the elevator does not work anymore. How can I leave the building? Is anyone here experiencing/ed thi bug?

Haven't experienced that bug myself. Maybe you can clip through the door into the elevator? I had the elevator in the Downtown haven stop working on the ground floor, but if I ride it down from my haven(which I get to via the vents) it works again. If you clip through the elevator doors the button inside the elevator might still work.

Actually, yes - this happened to me at the same spot. I had to do what Touch of Oblivion suggested to get into the elevator and go downstairs (if you don't know how to enable console for "noclip" mode, look here - http://pc.cheatfreak.com/Vampire-The-Masquerade-Bloodlines-cheat-code-No-clipping-mode/100-14268-43978.html.)

Oh thanks for the solution! I triied NOCLIP but it makes my game go unresponsive =/. The "solution" that I'm using is that: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=559451

If the game freezes after using the console type "chareditor" and continue from there.

Thanks Wesp, I'm using your patch (the newest 9.0) and without this advice game would be unplayable as there is bug with ladder and blades in warren part 2 (when drifting it is impossible to move even by a little bit)
