Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines Soundtrack

Hey everyone - I don't know if an official Soundtrack album was ever released for VTM:B, but I've been haunted by the game's music for some time. In searching around I came across this site

That has the addresses of a couple of RAR archives full of MP3's. You'll have to copy-and-paste the addresses into your browser, and use a program like SevenZip to open the archives... but they all sound great! Download away!

I just found out that the music files are located in the game's folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\Vampire\sound\music

It's not recommended to play the music files in/from the game folders using Windows Media Player or perhaps any other player, but I think that it's ok to copy them and paste/play them.Someone can confirm this?

Yes. The Windows Media Player attaches some infos that cause Bloodlines to crash.

Using VLC to play the music files directly from the game's directory without any problems.

It's also worth noting I think they had some sneaky unlicenced music! In the Haunted Mansion, a Goldfrapp song plays (Pilots if I recall correctly), and it is not credited ANYWHERE.

Those who preordered the game from Best Buy received a limited edition soundtrack disk with the game with 10 songs on it.

Source: I just found the game at a flea market with a Best Buy soundtrack inside.

What songs are those? You mean real life music or soundtracks made for the game?

Soundtrack with music from the actual game I believe. It was compiled by Activision and only included in the Best Buy preorder version of the game. Here is the list of tracks:

For some reason I never picked up that Ministry had contributed to the soundtrack, despite being quite a big fan of them some years back and Al having quite a distinct voice and so on... the track's intro always reminds me of Bauhaus's Bela Lugosi's Dead
