Worst case, I can just go to my nearby Best-buy and play it there, cause this is complete and utter bogus
An intel graphics card can't play this game - period. It doesn't matter how "good" it is. That should've been the first thing you mentioned to me!
There is another solution, because someone had an intel graphics card like you, and found a way to play it: 3D-Analyze (as said above). Use that tool; otherwise I can't offer any further help.
P.S. All intel graphics cards are not good for gaming. Some are pricey but not necessarily meant for gaming. You could probably get a decent one at the same cost of that card (if you looked at sites like newegg, etc.).
From what I've seen it's not too complicated:

P.S. My mate's got a rather expensive intel card so don't feel bad about not being able to play this game right from the get-go. I'm confident that this will get your game working -- provided I can't think of anything else right now.
No worries. Wish I could be of more help but yeah, a few of my friends have used that tool for different games and it works well from what they tell me. Not too complicated either - whic his a plus.
Maybe add Twist and ask how he did it? He had an intel card and got it running... :>
the win 8 used an intel hd 4000 gfx card i had no issue
Win7 x64, GeForce 9600GT.
