Help on Hallowbrook Hotel?

I've got the 8.9 patch, at least I think I do, and I'm on the mission Hell at the Hallowbrook Hotel. The thing is though, is that I don't end up inside when I take the lift on the side of the hotel. I end up on a third story outside, I think in like an atrim or something like that (at least I think that's what it's called) and I have no idea where to go. I've gone on all the levels that I can and every door is either boarded shut or I can't enter and I've killed every enemy that I can. I've spent like half an hour just exploring and I seriously have ran out of ideas. If someone could please help me figure this out, that would be much appreciated.

To know which patch you have installed,start a new game - choose#2 - look under the clan badge in the upper left area.

I'm afraid that I can't help you because I'm still running patch 8.8.
[Edit] It looks as though you should be getting the final "Sabbat choice".

Just go down to the bottom and check the girl out. After that some Sabbat will appear and you must fight your way up again to leave through the door with the lantern...
