Getting the game to work on Windows 7
So when I boughtthsi game I had a windows XP, and I loved playing this game. Sadly though that PC has kicked the bucket. so I had to get a new, with a windows 7 OS. So... I stil lreally want to play this game again. But I've no clue how to get it to work on this new PC. Any suggestions?

All I had to do with one of the newest windows systems was just to download the patch to fix the 15mb issue.

Indeed, one of the unofficial patches did the thing for me (I have win7 64bit and VtMB runs fine), but I cant remember right now which patch it was, sorry. I guess I would recommend installing the latest one.

Either download one of the Unofficial patches, or do this:

1. Right click on vampire.exe or a shortcut to it.
2. Properties
3. Compatibility (it's the one right next the the Shortcut section)
4. In the Compatibility Mode section set it to run like it was in Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
5. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
6. Play the game and have a great time.

Setting compatibility mode without the unofficial patch will result in blurry HUD textures. Therefore, using compatibility mode by itself is not recommended.
