I think that should be fixed in the UP because I gave her a gun to use in those cases. In the original game you could just jump on her bed and she would never be able to hurt you!
Ready for a tip that will change your life? In Bloodlines there's a window called the hotkey window. By default, it's bound to 'K'. I rebound it to 'Q'. The keybind window let's you reassign the number keys to whatever you want. Disciplines, weapons, bloodpacks, any combat related item. It also pauses the game, allows you to quick save, and you can still activate disciplines. You may need to close it for a split second to activate multiple disciplines. The inventory behaves similarly.
This was absolutely necessary for me to play a Tremere that also used guns.
