+Fixed aura for crying woman in SM and improved library quest again.
+Opened pier after murder is gone, thanks atrblizzard and Psycho-A.
+Added random thunder sounds to waterfront and removed tutorial key.
+Created default keyboard cfg for plus options, thanks to Psycho-A.
+Fixed snatch sound and other entity bugs using decompiler warnings.

The Steam version. But I just verified that v9.2 and v9.3 doesn't change the vampire.exe file at all. It's the same 25kB. However v9.4 it's now 1.2MB large. What changed?

The new vampire.exe is needed for retail games on Windows 10 as the latter can't handle SafeDisk and there is no other way to get it to run! Strangely under Windows 7 even my Steam version works fine with the included exe so it's still Windows 10 messing it up somehow. I intend to include the Steam and nocd vampire.exe in the upcoming hotfix for people who have problems...

First off I have been enjoying your hard work for a few years now and want to say, thank you. Also do you have notes to where the new music was added to in game as I don't want to miss it or skip something.

I've renamed the shortcuts, as was suggested to someone else, and it's doing absolutely nothing.

Renaming the shortcuts won't help, you need to rename the actual vampire.exe files!

I did have '-console' at the end of my steam launcher option, but I've now taken that away.

You do have '-game Unofficial_Patch' in the Steam launcher options, yes?

Try using the vampire.exe that came with your installation of the game, maybe this works?

I've done that, and nothing. It's basically just given up completely.

I did have a go with the Clan Mod on the install before this, which used the...9.2 version, I think, and that worked absolutely fine.

Hmm, it did work for me. And here is how:
1) Installed the game via Steam as you normally would.
2) Made a backup copy of vampire.exe
3) Installed the v9.4 Patch (using admin rights since it asked for it)
4) Replaced vampire.exe with the backup I made before.
5) Run the game via the created shortcut* (no admin). Done.
(* the shorcut with 'unofficial patch' in its name, not the one from steam)

I updated the patch with a new exe, anyone not able to run it now, please try the version from 4.9...

I have trouble running the patched version. After installation, the patch runs the game soon as it finishes, but when I come back and open the game for second time, the game reverted to stock version and not the patched version. Anyone know solution to this?

Try launching from Patch created shortcut or modify your Steam launch options to allow launching from Steam Library : "-game Unofficial_Patch" (without quotes)

Check Options Gamplay menu for confirmation of running Patched version.

I try to install the patch but I get a lot of errors that dont allow the installation to continue.What do I do??
