BE SURE TO START THE GAME FROM THE SHORTCUT THE PATCH CREATES AND ALWAYS START A NEW GAME AFTER UPGRADING!

+Restored museum entrance and downtown area, thanks to EntenSchreck.
+Made LaCroix give you the museum keys and Blood Theft always work.
+Fixed aura for crying woman in SM and improved library quest again.
+Opened pier after murder is gone, thanks atrblizzard and Psycho-A.
+Added random thunder sounds to waterfront and removed tutorial key.
+Created default keyboard cfg for plus options, thanks to Psycho-A.
+Fixed snatch sound and other entity bugs using decompiler warnings.
+Cleaned up SM apartment without switching map, thanks to Psycho-A.
+Added twelve original musical compositions, thanks to Rik Schaffer.
+Restored lockpick sound, warehouse music and Last Round barkeeper.
+Added guard outside Empire hotel and changed Warrens Shortcut hall.
+Improved details for all new maps and the SDK, thanks to Psycho-A.
+Corrected occult item heal rate and descriptions in plus and basic.
+Restored Blood Hunt newspaper and fixed bus stops and poles there.
+Fixed one Vandal gesture and his background music, thanks Psycho-A.
+Moved finding out about the Gargoyle XP to avoid preferring sides.
Corrected Milligan not leaving his apartment in case you were loud.
Removed Tourette gun from model and made her give it in basic too.
Fixed many errors in particle and materials files, thanks Psycho-A.
Added script to run Bloodlines and mods under Wine, thanks to SCO.
Corrected Johansen's Empire hotel name and weapons and keys sounds.
Added another Sweet FX shader suite preset, thanks to Citizenkane.
Corrected Malkavian ghoul's sounds and restored basic wallet scale.
Fixed some Johansen, Lily, Dema, Boris and Copper dialogue issues.
Corrected pier streetlights on three maps and removed police lines.

I'm having issues lauching the game with the patch (installed as run as admin) In steam it gave me you dont have the privalge of running this so I set both steam and the VTM exe as run as admin the game won't even launch. The game ran fine on 9.3 but i recently switched to win 10 which maybe the problem. Reverted back to 9.3 getting the admin issue I think its a windows 10 issue with the way it handles unknown programs.

Please rename vampire.exe to something else and then rename vampire.exe.12 to vampire.exe and see if that works!

Yay more music! As much as I love this game, the music is very limited and gets repetitive (but of course since it's an older game).

I renamed both files still gives me the admin issue i try and run it as admin it doesn't want to run.

I'm in no hurry.

My main rig went down yesterday, so I pulled out an old abacus (read I didn't get the less thn 15 mb memory warning when starting VTMB lol). I installed the 9.4 patch, and then wnt to add in changes for the Malkavian appearances, but they refuse to show in game. I put them in the standard models folder, then tried the unofficial_patch models folder, but they still won't show.

Where are we supposed to place custom appearances now with the latest patch?
I have all sorts of custom items working fine with an older patch on my main rig.

This is the first that I've heard of this Dave. I don't have 9.4 installed yet, but I can attest that 9.3 modding worked as usual, with the execption that, modded files in the Vanilla path (if not overwitten by files in one of the mod-loader mod folders) will still appear even when running one of said mod-loader mods.

Edit: I could understand the modded files not showing, if you modded the Unofficial folder, then accidentally started the vanilla game...

With 9.3 you had to use the 9.3 created shortcut, or modify the Steam launch options : -game unofficial_patch (or mod folder name) to launch 9.3 from Steam library.

That's what's confusing me lol. I have the target set in the startup for the game to use the patch, and have even placed the models in both the vanilla vampires folder and in the unofficial patch folder and they still won't show.

I first tried it with the VV replacer, then tried the Subtle Malkavian mod just to make sure it wasn't just the VV one causing isues. Neither showed in game. The female Malkavian is wearing the cowgirl fetish outfit for heavy clothing.

If using the Plus version, is Gangrel female crouching in the character menu?

Unless Wesp5 moved it, "unofficial patch" should be seen in Options Gameplay menu.

Well, it doesn't really matter at this point. This patch has some game breaking bugs in it. Can't feed on rats whatsoever, and any containers like crates and desk drawers will not open properly. They snap open and then close again immediately, and if I keep them forced open, I still cannot take the contents. This means there are going to be several quests which are not doable.

I'm just gonna find an older version of the patch, provided there are still some online for download.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Jack at the very beginning keeps getting knocked down and dragged by something invisible under the building where he vanishes. This is a looping event. This is happening at teh very beginning of the tutorial.
