Two questions

1. How could I get the pearl of dubai?
2. How could I get the library quest?

I've read the forum, the walkthrough and some other internets, but they didn't help.

Both are features of the Unofficial Patch plus version only, so you need to first install that and then check the included walkthrough in the Extras folder if you can't figure it out...

Yes, I'm using that patch v9.4 (btw, thanks a lot!) and that walkthrough.

Talking about Pearl of Dubai, beforementioned walkthrough is a bit inconsistent.

PEARL OF DUBAI (+1 Charisma) [From Isaac as quest reward]

Whatever you've chosen you can go back to Strauss and get some money ($500) as
reward [+: or the PEARL OF DUBAI].

Who exactly should give me that pearl?

And about library:

After you have defeated Bishop Vick and finished the [CARNIVAL OF DEATH] quest,
Beckett'll send you an email that there is something going on in the library.

I've just killed the serial killer dude, as Bishop much earlier. But no email.

This is a mistake in the walkthrough which I just fixed. Isaac will give you the Pearl of Dubai and Strauss the Fai Charm like stated in the summary!

Thank you for the explanation. But, anyway, Isaac doesn't give me that pearl, no matter what I do. It should be a reward for the gargoyle quest, right? I've tried to kill gargoyle, to befriend it, to betray Strauss or to keep his secret - no result. Maybe there're some extra prerequesites? Like, for example, siding with Anarchs or something else?

No, you just need to leave him for a bit and then come back for it. It must be plus patch of course and there might have been a problem there that the 9.4 patch should have fixed.

"For a bit" - you mean I should complete some other quests? Leaving zone and entering again doesn't work.

No, it's 0 all the way. Kill a gargoyle, check, talk to Isaac, check, go away, check, return, talk to Isaac and betray Strauss, check, go away and return, talk, check... All checks was 0. And he just says "Any luck?" Maybe it's because of a state of main quest?

No, that shouldn't matter. Did you type the command case sensitive? Did he ever talk with you about the gift?

Yes, it was case sensitive. No, I think, he didn't mention any gift, but I'm not completely sure. I'll try to reproduce.

BTW, the gift is the reward for killing the Tzimisce, not for dealing with the Gargoyle...

Oh. I've misunderstood, sorry. Not sure why I thought it's concerned with the gargoyle.

POINT OF INTEREST: ISAAC'S GIFT

Once you've finished the [ORIGINAL GANGSTER] quest you can go back to Isaac in
Hollywood and he will give you the FAE CHARM as a reward for getting rid of the
Tzimisce for him. If you have already bought it from Tseng, you'll not get it
from him again [+-: but you will get $300 instead.]
