Ocean House Hotel--Trouble finding the object

I cannot tell you how many times i have tried to complete this quest, but to no avail! I have tried so many times, so many times!
Could someone tell me how to complete this quest so I can move along with the story, please?

i have entered the hotel, read newspapers, fallen down the stairs, picked the key on the laundry machine, pulled the lever that made the elevator work again, gone upstairs, looked everywhere and no sign of any object that might be the ghost's. Now I am stuck inside the hotel...

After going upsatirst again, on the left side (or rigth side when you get out of the elevator) there it'll be a door to what it looks like an aboned room, from there you'll fall to the bar, call the elevator of the bar (it's a little door usually for dishes) and go on. But before that, you'll have to to the 2 other rooms on the other side. The ghost it'll appear from far and then you follow like she's showing the way to you.

Welcome :3 It's a bit confuse in the first playtrough (I was stuck for 2 hours so I know what you passed ^^')

with every playthrough I dread the few hours I need to get through this thing.

I am trying to do this quest and when I am upstairs it shows that I need to smash through the floor, but I have nothing to do this with. I am stuck

Love that mission! First time I played Bloodlines the haunted hotel scared the bajezzus out of me. Very well paced, and showcases the haunted house concept in an exeptional way. The fact you can't fight back just enhances the fear factor I thought.

2 hours? I can't even count how many hours i was stuck there because i kept retry-ing over and over again--in multiple clans, might I add--I even abused a glitch to level my auspex and inspection, as well as perception, just to increase my chances of seeing the object. If I dindn't love this game so much, I would have given up.

Thank you! I didn't play horror games, so I can't compare...

I was introduced to steam with Dota 2--and those who played dota 2 know how foul the community is, so I was half-expecting the steam community to be like that. Fortunately, dota 2 isn't an accurate representation of the whole community :)

There really isn't a coherent "Steam Community", as the service is far to mandatory in today gaming industry, leading to basically everyone having a Steam account and everygame having their own little comunity. But yeah, the whole MOBA szene is rather toxic, I am glad it is better elsewhere.

Fortually, althoug this game it's old, we have a pretty solid community that helps each other. That's why I still have hope that another game of the World of Darkness will come someday ^^

I tried it today and I didn't fall anywhere...i don'r see any bar... could it be a mistake during the installment of the patch?

The bar has woods blocking the door on the first floor turning to left as soon you enter the Hotel, so you have to enter form upstairs. Also on the left side of the hotel (based on the door you entered) on the second floor there's gonna have an empty room that looks like it has nothing butwoods on the floor, but you need to smash these woods so you can fall inside the bar.
