Malkavian is really fun but better for a 2nd playthrough. Same for Nosferatu.

I personally like Tremere (blood mage) as you can do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of damage with it.

Depends on the type of gameplay you want. If you don't want to move a muscle and use mind control or manipulation, there's Tremere, Ventrue and Toreador. If you want to battle, shoot and things like that, Gangrel, Malkavian, Nosferatu and Brujah are better. Sure there's plenty of other differences between them but choosing one of these two types of gameplay makes the list shorter.

Malkavians talk like Drusilla.

Well, if you want easy mode, choose either Malkavian or Nosferatu because they have Obfuscate. Get that to lvl 5 and just stealth kill everyone, perferrably with a Katana so you get the ninja sound effect. xD Then pump some spare points to some other disciplines for you to kill bosses with and you're done, you win.
Toreador with ranged weapons Asupex and Celerity is pretty OP too and so are Tremere with ranged and blood magic although, Tremere can go melee too without any real downside.

For fun dialogue - Malkavian and Nosferatu
For ranged - Toreador and Ventrue
Melee - Brujah and Nosferatu
Frenzy - Gangrel (can be pretty fun frenzying, but unpredictable and can get you killed)
Magic - Tremere

So just pick any clan whose playsyle you like and have fun with it. :) All of them are good, you just have to know their strengths and build around that. You can build a melee Toreador, but they're way better at ranged combat.

Also, think twice about picking Ventrue because they can't feed on rats, and will vomit 50% of the time when feeding on lowlife. There's a pretty annoying section with them at one point in the game where you just have to either play perfectly or spend your whole money on bloodpacks to survive.

All of the clans are pretty fun to play and well balanced. You just have to figure out which playstyle you want.

As someone else said, make sure to save Malkavian and Nosferatu for a second playthrough. Malkavians have completely unique dialogue and you may not totally understand what's being said if you've never played before so it could make the game a little confusing. Nosferatu are sort of the game's "hard" mode due to their issues interacting with people.

I'd personally say go with Nosferatu for the first playthrough. It IS restrictive (you being one ugly sonuvabitch), so no traipsing around the city (unless it's a really shadowy back-alley) and prepare to see sewers a lot. But when you finish that run and choose any other clan for your second one, the realisation that you have this whole new world to run around in is most satisfying. Malks are best for a rerun when you played a clan that's not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane before (great social skills and Dementation are a must, plus, c'mon, that Stop sign), Gangrel are awesome if you wish to dominate a fight (be it Kindred or human), Tremere are just suave SOBs with Thaumaturgy that will always get you out of trouble in a snap with a cool mind and a snappy tongue (if you will it).

All that said I will go with Vepar on this one. All the clans are balanced and their descriptions and Disciplines ought to help decide what kind of playthrough you want.

Besides the Malks. You gotta play Malk, friend.

Enjoy!

I played Malkavian first and their dialogue wasn't too hard to figure out

Yeah, but you also don't know the original dialogue or the twists and hints put in the Malk dialogue the first time through.

Ventrue can do really well combat wise while not sacrificing much dialogue wise (due to disciplines able to apply during dialogue). Fortitude is an amazing passive. The feeding issue isn't really a problem with the amount of clubs and dialogue to help you along.

But your question is fun and best? As much as I love Gangrel I would say Malkavian. As others said though I would save that run until after you do a run with a more "normal" clan. Not that it's really that difficult but more that it really does a good bit to change up a game you already play but through a simple change of dialogue. Malks have obfuscate and dementation which are both very solid.

Nosferatu are fun but I wouldn't say best (especially since outside of obfuscate disciplines are neat but less optimal than other clans). They do add another experience to the game that I recommend.

The feeding issue is only a problem in one section of the game where there are no humans available for a long long time. So you either play good, or bring 20 bloodpacks and still need to play good.

The sewers after Andrei

And lvl 5 Obfuscate that Malkavians and Nosferatu get is really OP. You can literally stealth kill anything without breaking the discipline. You can even sneak attack bosses occasionally with it, if you manage to go invisible during the fight. Combine that with Nosferatu's potence wielded good melee weapon with blood buff, and that sneak attack damage can go really really high! :)

Same with Toreador's Celerity and Asupex combo. When both are lvl 5, you can pretty much mow down any room and any boss with 1 or 2 activations of those disciplines. :P

EDIT: Now that i read your name and seen your avatar i have that song stuck in my head so thanks for that. :P
