DISCLAIMER: I don't know if this is fully legal or not. I'm simply providing a reupload to enjoy the game's hard-to-get soundtrack (which can be mostly listened to by going to the game's folder and opening the nested "music" subfolder) which was originally uploaded by a fan who sought out the game's composer beforehand, Rik Schaffer. If there's any issues with this upload I'll take it down in an instant and I have an alternate download available anyway (which uses the aforementioned files in the game's music subfolder).

After seeing numerous requests for this game's soundtrack, I decided I'd go on a hunt for it. During my searches I found an old compilation that was made back in 2006 titled "Vampire - The Masquerade Bloodlines (Complete OST Revised)". It's 201mb in size which is a lot bigger than VTM:B's vanilla music folder which is 123 mb in size. Also all the tracks have been numbered, ordered and renamed so it's as close as anyone is going to get to a proper soundtrack for this game. Here's what the author had to say:

"I recently recieved an e-mail response from Rik Schaffer, the composer of all the original BGM for the game. He was very generous and sent all of the original source wave files that remained in his possession. It wasn't the entire soundtrack, but it was better then nothing. Roughly 17 perfect quality waves were sent. I processed them the same as I did with the tracks in the prior version of this set. I amplified, removed any silence, applied any fades that were required, and encoded to Alt Present Standard."
"The tracks are roughly ordered chronologically in relation to the game's main story. I took the liberty of slightly shuffling things up if too many soft or hard tracks were bunched together. I tried to make it seem like an album that was always rising or diving in terms of energy. I was forced to recompress some of the original BGM tracks due to reasons mentioned above. I did not need to do this on any tracks which I was able to secure from the composer himself, or the official soundtrack CD."

Of course all credit goes to stevemv for creating this awesome compilation, Wesp5 for the additional unused tracks from his Unofficial Patch and Rik Schaffer for composing most of these songs. I simply reuploaded the original 2006 download, as few sites still had it and those that did I had terrible download speed on and they looked dodgy. If for whatever reason you don't like the VTMB - Complete OST Revised compilation, I've decided to copy and paste the music folder from my game (which can be found in C://Program Files/Steam/ steamapps/common/Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines/Vampire/sound/) as well as the 8 files from the "radio" and "area" subfolders, and number, order and rename them to be as close to this compilation as possible.

I'm not really sure why these songs were unused. Could be they didn't have time to include them (VTMB was a rushed product after all), they weren't liked or someone felt they didn't fit in well.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but it seems like the place to ask.

I'm replaying the plus patch, for fun. I noticed some music that's missing from the soundtrack. Namely, the piano piece in Mercurio's apartment, and the vocal piece that plays in the ocean hotel when the vision of the old hotel room begins (just before you grab the amulet).

Is it possible to get these somewhere?

The music at Mercrurio's is Sound/Music\Stems\Vampire Extra Music Stem5.mp3.

well you can youtube the ending to see the credits, or maybe there is a video of just the credits

sounds interesting, all of the music was well done
