Skipping the intro. Need answers.

I wonder if anyone can help me, and sorry if this issue is redundant. I downloaded patch 8.8 and even got the mod Clan Quests. Everything works great. I see the new content, no crashes no bugs nothing is wrong. The only problem I have is I can;t skip the intro. I seen videos with a little white box with skip intro check on the character sheet. I do not have that. It would making new runs a whole lot better, besides im compulsive like that. I do not know why I cant skip the intro. I run from shortcut, I even looked to change the vchar from 0 to 1 in the directory. No dice. I cannot skip that intro. I already beat the game on Clan Quest and all the content is there. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks

You can only skip the intro when you have at least one old saved game and your resolution is greater than 800x600.

Thanks. The res did it. I had no idea the resolution had to be greater. I read no indication of it. I find that weird.

Me too! It seems the skip intro button position does not scale with the resolution so in low ones it somehow ends up outside the screen area...
