Can't access my computer

I'm playing on the unofficial patch version and I find the skyline apartments area is consistently bugged, with certain objects being uninteractable and others being swapped for random other objects sometimes (like you'll go into an apartment and almost every piece of furniture will be a book instead, that sort of thing).

This is mostly nothing some noclip can't solve but it does mean I can't access computer terminals, and most notably my own. Does anyone know a trick or console command to open up the player's computer interface?

I don't recall if the game requires you to use the computer to beat it but I like that quest where you have to be mean to a restaurant critic.

This is the most infamous Bloodlines bugs which happens if you play long sessions in one go. Quit the game, restart it and load an earlier save, best outside of the Skyeline map...

You should quit the game to desktop every hour or so, to ensure everything works properly. As Wesp mentioned, Skylines is the first to show bugs, usually in the lobby.

its a bit radical, to re launch every hour
i would start from a simple reload and if visual bug still present - re launch

There's nothing wrong with being extra cautious but you can certainly play longer than 1 hour; I've never seen this bug myself and I've played up to between 2 ½ - 3 hours in one session several times over the years on the gog version. Although, I typically save, quit and relaunch every 2 hours just to be safe.

As another poster said, you can play as much as 2hrs or maybe more before you need to restart.

Inside your vampire folder you can rename your media folder and skip the loading intro to speed up getting back into the game.

Oh no. I leave the game running while I'm working and hop in play for 5 minutes, have not shut the game down in days.

Iirc skylines was busted early in my game. Can I still finish the game if skylines is bugged?

You have to restart the game about every 2 hours to fix the bug.
