Can't the Body Armour be modded differently from the Heavy Leather?
Title says it all. All mods I found had the body armour looking exactly the same as the Heavy Leather, I wanted to make it different.

As far as I know the body armor is supposed to be worn underneath the normal clothes.

Yes, but I'm talking about the technicality of modding. Also do you know why some skins cannot be used together or why they don't work on another position other than armor0?

If I set them to armor1, they simply show as vanilla.

The different armors are not skins, but completely new models with different clothes so only specific skins for specific models will work.

So how does this work, I wanted to put this one:

http://www.moddb.com/games/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines/addons/deranged-darling-malkavian-armor-0/#6177512

As Heavy Leather/Body Armour, as well as this one in another slot:

http://www.moddb.com/games/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines/addons/world-of-goth-malkavian-re-skin

But neither work, not the first one alone as Heavy Leather/Body Armour, not the latter, they only work one at a time and only as armor0, the rest being purely vanilla!

Please help, how can I make those skins apply to more than the Light Clothing. I even tried to take just one and make every single skin being like that by making it four times armor0, armor1, armor2, armor3, but it didn't work!
