Console Command to Advance Carnival of Death

Playing the clan quests mod which has an older (bugged) version of the u-patch. I went to the beach before reading the newspapers and now the Carnival of Death quest won't advance beyond stage 1. What is the console command to advance the quest to this point:

"You saw the murder scene on the pier, but weren't able to find out anything significant about the killer, except that the killing was very brutal, vicious and beast-like."

I think this quest state is not continued to advance the quest later. But the console command should be: __main__.FindPlayer().SetQuest("Serial", 2)

The quest does advance when you go to the pier. Wesp5's command works if you get caught by this bug.
