How do y'alls suppose we can feed on people without them bleeding out? The teeth aren't that small, especially with the Nosferatu, how aren't these humans dying withing seconds?

If a vampire lick the area of a vampire bite, the wound heal instantly.

To lick is a kind of obrigatory for the Masquerade. If you dont do it, police begin to find corpses with characteristic vampire bites... and a lot of blood who goes to nowhere...

I think VTM: Redemption explained it quite good when you first have to feed in that game. The vampire companion you have at the time explains how to creep up on people, not to kill them, and that the bite is as extatic to kine as it is to the kindred, they don't feel pain, they feel pleasure. And that the wound heals or you have to lick it and the human will later just have a hangover and won't know what happened. They won't remember being bitten.

Yeah, the pleasure effect along the "kiss". Some kine can even become adicted to it.

There is a clan who does not produce this effect in the kiss, the Giovanni. Indeed when they bite a kine, it causes horrible agony and pain. The victim scream and fight in desperation.

For that reason, the Giovanni prefer feed from the dead or bloodbanks. At least those who are not sadistic.
