Can someone please explain what celerity does?
Pretty much the title. I tried googling but the answers seem to only refer to the board game rules and not the game (unless I'm just missing something). I used it a couple times but didn't notice a difference in anything so I'm confused by what it actually does.

This is taken from the game manual:
Celerity

This Discipline allows the Kindred to move at
extraordinary speeds. As a vampire moves faster and
faster, the world around him or her appears to slow
down. With Celerity, a Kindred can close 50‚ yards within
a few seconds and throw some devastating blows before
the target can even react. This is a passive Discipline.

There's more details about the discipline levels in the manual.

It's basically Matrix bullet time on higher level and then pretty much overpowered!

Does the Unofficial Patch make any changes (from vanilla) to Celerity?

Still haven't done my planned City Gangrel, [Celerity /Protean /Obfuscate] playthrough.

Thanks guys. Played this a little a few times but don't remember this ability. I upgraded it once and notice a huge difference now. Very useful

Wait til you max it out.
It gets ridiculous!
Pair it with presence. You'll be unstoppable.

I'm not actually sure how to get other blood skills. I decided to go bruja and still have all the basic skills he comes with

No, it was great from the start and I personally played a Toreador gunman with it maxed :)!

Just put experience points into whatever skill you want. There's 3 at the bottom of the character sheet. Brujah comes with Celerity, Presence and Potence. If you use guns, skip potence, that's for unarmed. But just put a point into Presence, and you can use it.

Celerity is completely broken how powerful it is. Max out potence and celerity as a brujah then just turn every enemy to goo in seconds.

Or go toreador and max out celerity and auspex, and mow down everything with guns for similar results.
Maxing out both celerity and potence as a Brujah is incredibly OP and incredibly fun lol

Celerity enhances a number of savory and salty dishes. Celerity is great raw with ranch dip. It adds a complex aroma and complementary taste to beef or pork dishes. It's often used in chicken soup. And of course Thanksgiving stuffing just wouldn't taste authentic at all if not for the celerity.
