Stuck in 609 King's Way (Andrie fight) spoilers

Hi everyone. So I think I'm screwed. I'm stuck at this boss fight. I'm a tremere specialising in melee and stealth. I have a knife and leather coat. The guy keeps teleporting around the room and his minions keep coming at me. I'm fine using blood buff and blood purge but I soon run out of blood then just get chiselled down while running lamely around this room trying to close on the guy. I have blood packs but I don't have time to use them.

I'm getting the feeling I'm underpowered for this fight. I watched a video on youtube and the guy in that had a katana, which you can't get until Chinatown if memory serves. Or use alacrity, which I dont have, or use a flamthrower which I don't have.

I've done all the other quests I had so I can't come back to it later.

I can do damage if I get close enough but I can't stay alive long enough to kill him. Any suggestions?

A seperate question for other tremere. When are you supposed to get the apartement in downtown? I've read you get it after the gargoyle quest for Abrams, which I've done. I played this game years ago as a tremere and didn't have any trouble that time. I seem to recall getting it soon after getting to downtown.

Couple things:

1) You can get an inferior katana (shin gunto) in Santa Monica early game.
2) You get the Tremere safehouse after you complete the Plaguebringer quest line, and destroy/pacify the gargoyle without letting Abrams know about Strauss' involvement. You get the apartment as a reward for your loyalty and discretion.
3) You can use blood packs inside your inventory - time stops. You have all the time in the world to use them.

If you did all the quests up to this point then you have the Odious Chalice from Pisha, correct? Each enemy you kill adds one blood point to it, so with enough time and combat prowess you have an infinite blood source. Use this to fuel your blood magic as a Tremere. Firearms and melee are backup options.

If you didn't pick up the occult item and the blood packs in the fridge go back upstairs and get those before starting the fight.

There is a table in one of the corners with what looks to be a side of beef lying on it, when dialogue ends run to the table and hop up on it and go into stealth. Now just wait there on the table till Andrei comes in range and Blood Strike him, shoot him as well if you feel so inclined.

Or if that doesn't appeal then ignore the minions and just make sure to keep moving and dancing so they mostly miss you. Focus solely on Andrei, having Bloodbuff up when attacking, and staying alive. Mostly stay near and circling the center of the room when you don't know where Andrei is/will be as the objects there impede the minions and it will put you in a better position if he does switch to completely opposite side of room.

If neither of those appeal then when dialogue ends move to the closest tunnel where his minions spawn and stand just beside it (on the side furthest from the stairs) with your back to the wall. Just stand and wait till Andrei teleports right in front of you then step out and attack then return to standing with back to wall till he returns. Don't ever go beyond the distance needed to attack Andrei. His minions attacks will be hindered by poles and other objects in the room so you can exploit that but same as with Andrei don't chase them or go very far from your posted position.
