Content that I think should be in the UP patch
- in the intro the starting location is Downtown and then Jack changes it to the original one;
- In the abandoned hospital in Downtown, the Pisha chamber has a bigger hole then how was in the base game;
- Fat Larry inventory has been modified, because you cannot duplicate items anymore (for example in the Trip one you can still do it);
- the emails in the nocturnal theatre, kamikaze zen and the fu sindacate (door code option) have extra content;
- one of the Chang brothers drops his sword;
- why you decided to add on the Leopold stronghold top ammunitions even in the basic patch?
- During the Leopold mission, the hunters drop 2 different kind of knives (one should be a plus patch sword);
- there are some cowering blood dolls in the Sabbat hotel (in the base game all should be standing);
- always in the Sabbatt hotel you can speak with Heather body if you go over it: I've never seen it, it's always been there?
Others
- in Santa Monica, during the museum quest, if you seduce Chunk and get the keys to the back entrance, even after the quest is done and you go on with the story, the back door remains open (while the front one is closed);
- floating garbage in Downtown near the prostitute in front of the Confession;
- in the Lucky Star Motel, the corpse of Muddy is floating and can't be passed easily; Could it be made intangible?
- this one I think is random, but during the first fight with Andrei only one of the 2 legged monsters joined the fight. The only particularity is that I attacked Andrei with the torch;
- when you exit Imalia's room, the door of the room with the galdjum opens automatically (I don't know if it's intended or not);
- In the Giovanni mansion there is a way to kill all the guards (and Bruno Giovanni) 2 times:
a) if the first time you enter with the invitation, then reach the catacombs, return to the main room and kill all the guards;
b) go outside and kill all the guards there too;
c) if you reenter the mansion all the guards (even Bruno Giovanni) will be spawned again;
- after the Blood hunt, you can still go through the vents in your apartment and return to Santa Monica. Only after you open the door of the apartment the vents are sealed;
- when you kill Ming-Xiao, her little proxies leave on the floor bubble gums items.
On a side note: the time needed to save the game is excellent, now it remains the same from the start till the end of the game, really great job!
I thought hard about this and in my opinion, and that of the guy who helped me do it, this is a bug. I mean the exit is supposed to be the same but looks completely different!
This too is a bug fix because in the original game you could get pulled to Pisha when crawling through that door and would end up too low.
I can't remember changing anything special there, but I will take a look.
The bit in the nocturne theatre was added to explain a fix that hides an invisible object, the fu syndicate code was added because sometimes Barabus doesn't break the doors and players could get stuck. I don't know which content you mean at Kamikaze Zen.
Didn't he do that in the original game? If he didn't it should be easy to fix.
Because those boxes hide map holes which are obvious if you jump to the roof.
So are you saying I should make them drop swords? Because a katana wearing guy using a knife looks really buggy.
I don't think this would be worth the effort to change it.

In the Kamikaze Zen, if I remeber correctly, I've read some emails in the various computers that I did not remeber from the previous playthroughs.
He does not, I remeber because he drops a shin gunto, a sword that is not present in the base game.
The anomalous thing is that you find 2 different knives in your inventory, which is kind of strange in a game where you can have only one item of the same kind of object (with the exception of the stackable items).
I'm not sure either if these hunters use a katana versus you or a knife.
If they use a katana maybe would be a good idea make them drop it.
No, what I mean is this:
usually I solve this quest in 2 different ways:
a) charm Chunk to open the front door;
b) seduce Chunk, feed on him, recover the dropped keys and open the back door;
In case (a) after the quest is done the front door locks, in case (b) after the quest the back door is still open
I only found some minor edits that I can't remember doing myself, so I will remove them. I'll also remove the email in the theatre, because while it is connected to a fix, it just makes the player more aware of it which might not be a good idea ;).

The problem is that some carry katanas but attack with a knife. This is rather stupid so I changed that for the plus patch but I wanted to keep this in basic and the easiest solution was to create another knife. Maybe I will just rename it so it isn't as obvious...
One could argue that in case a) Chunk still has the keys and can lock the door and in case b) he can't because you have them.
If you can't give them a normal knife, maybe you can rename the other one in "hunting knife" ;)
Would be interesting to see what happens if with option (b) (seduce Chunk, get keys, open back door) you open the main door instead of the back one ...
I called it a "combat knife" for now.
I don't know, I haven't looked at this yet. Maybe there is an easy Python fix, like I found for removing the cowering of the victims and Heathers farewell at the Hallowbrook Hotel :)!
I can add some details about this: when I reentered the mansion, I did it from the front door, the Bruno Giovanni's room door was already destroyed and he was alive, showing the boss bar from the moment I entered.
The first time I killed him the quest on the diary did not update, but the second time it did.
Maybe somehow a variable was not set the first time?
Possibly, but this shouldn't happen as both times the same command is used. Do you have a save nearby so you can take a look at the console?
