It's been moved. I didn't know about it either. I read it on the forums by chance, someone mentioned it. I had high enough perception to actually find it myself, but i had no idea what that was about because i found it at the end of the game.
But yeah, it used to come in your mailbox, now it's at Mercurio's...
Don't know why it's at Mercurio's but whatever. It's nice to see something new.
you are actually telling him to place it there ... must have skipped that part ... :)
I always seemed to remember telling him the apartments above the pawnshop.
I was persuaded to move it because it would be really stupid of the player to give his real adress in an blackmailing attempt. Especially if he is asleep during the day when police could visit...
That makes sense, yeah.
Did you also change the dialogue response when telling Malcom where to put it? I didn't pay attention my last playthrough with a Ventrue.
Of course.
Cool! I was so used to the old dialogue that i didn't even notice lol!
I'll go run the game a bit to see it properly lol, didn't get a chance to take it all in the last playthrought cause i assumed the dialogue was the same.
Anyway, nice addition to the game! Makes more sense not to give your real address.
I mean, Malcom would't have called the cops anyway because then there would be questions about "why" he called them, then Trina and Paige would get to know each other during that (lol), but still, in any blackmail attempt it would be dumb to give your real address so i like this change!
same here ...
@ wesp5 thanks for the great pacthes
No way, dude. Why?
This one threw me off for an hour. Money in the mailbox is no more "stupid" than money "hidden" under somebody's plant in the hallway.
No one asked for this change and no one needed it. Due respect, but I wish you would change it back.
It's just the plus patch that already changes so much that one dialogue change shouldn't be an issue. If you don't want the game changed, you don't have to install the plus patch, use the basic patch.
Sorry, but people actually asked for this, otherwise I wouldn't have included it. Maybe people should actually listen to what is being said...
I actually like the change and it makes sense. Its not the modders fault that i diodnt read the answer a npc gave me ...
I must have missed out on that vote. Here's one to say that, after 15 years, there is no reason to change that isn't broken.
