I think you messed up your build a bit. Now everything you have is mediocre because you spread your XP too thin.
But it's possible to still defeat her. Just really hard because you're not doing enough damage.
Try to attack her from the sides. When she spawns a clone, focus that clone before it grows, you can use guns for the clones, but if they're not doing enough damage even to clones, use whatever will get them killed. Then get back to her. Always have presence active. Direct attacks do less damage than hitting her sides. It'll be difficult but hit and run. Avoid or block her attacks and good luck.
If you don't mind "tweaking" your build via console, i'd suggest maxing out potence and presence. She'll be dead in a minute.
You're definitely right that I screwed up my build, ended up having to force myself into stealth in a lot of missions because I couldn't fight well enough.
Nothing except guns seems to work on the clones when they're small - they're too short to punch, and my gun stats are so bad that I miss from point blank range. Also, I don't think I have enough blood to keep presence active constantly, especially when I'm using it to heal myself as well.
I just tried giving myself level 5 potence and presence but still nowhere near.
Well she's still supposed to be hard. No matter the disciplines. The fight will take a while. I may have overexaggerated when i said a minute, but not by much.
Yes, it's easier to deal with the little clones with guns, but melee should work too. Although, now you have a good thing that you invested in guns, you can switch to a gun when you see a clone.
And be tactical with your blood. Blood both heals and refills your blood for disciplines. If you need to use a whole bag of full heal blood. Switch to presence and right click on it until you're almost out of blood. This will stack the duration for every presence you activated.
Also, don't forget the most useful discipline - blood buff. Every vampire has this for a reason.
In minor fights i used to feed on enemies, and with ever feeding i activate a discipline several times. Don't let that blood go to waste when you can have Presence active for the whole level.
This is most useful for Obfuscate. Feed on a few mobs, then have Obfuscate active for hours.
Same with blood bags. If you have full blood, but intend to use a blood bag, use a discipline. Bloodbuff if nothing else. Bloodbuff also stacks. Any timed discipline does i think.
That way you're healing yourself, but also becoming more powerful in the process. And with all those durations stacked, you can focus on the combat instead of keeping your disciplines up.
Even as Brujah.
And contrary to the bad advice you are being given in this thread even Brujah can max out Firearms without gimping their other stats using a combination of skillbooks and teachers to get 3 free skill points.
All you do is back into one of the cloisters which bugs out Ming's Ai and then keep on shooting her until she's dead. If you try meleeing her you will have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ time no matter what build you are using.
Since Ming is clearly made of liquid then her hits should do almost no damage to you because she is hitting you with liquid that isn't moving fast. It would feel like getting sprayed with water by a hose with low pressure. It is complete bs that the game subtracts so much damage and has that damage be aggravated damage. So I don't in any way feel bad about bugging out Ming's AI when it was the game developers who screwed up by having Ming deal way more damage than she should be allowed to. Quite frankly that is every boss fight. Bosses shouldn't be allowed to deal more damage than other characters. They should have the same limitations as every other character, use the same stats, same skills. They should be just as screwed over by CCs as everyone else. It is why I hate fighting bosses that have cheating skills, cheating stats and cheating immunities which are horrendously unrealistic and horrendously unfun.
Since when is Ming made out of liquid? I know little about the Kueij-Yin lore but I never heard that before. Even if she was, that liquid could be acid, causing burns and thus aggravated damage. Or it could be something magical. After all she spits something that makes you magically slow down!
