Console Commands help

I love this game .I am not really one to use these commands too much but i have seen people ask for it..

what you can do if you have the patches especially the unofficial patch.You go to your steam games

sellect your game for example the vampire masquerade bloodlines right click that then chose properties.

I uncheck under general enable in game community overlay cause I was reading it causes problems so I wanted to be safe.

Now click set launch options button

Now if you already have -game Unofficial_Patch in there you only need to add -console behind that

it should look like this -game Unofficial_Patch -console

once done launch the game as you normally would.. if you normally would use your patch shortcut you would need to add the -console behind the target line under properties..

don't quote me on this because I don't usually use the patch shortcut (one made when you instill the unofficial patch) since I learned how to open my game using the patch shortcut using steam. so if I am wrong if someone can correct me it would be awesome.

console commands certainones may freeze game to fix it sometimes you need to tab out of game and back and hi ~ key to open console and hit ~ again to close..

sometimes also click the X when console is open to close it also can cause game to freeze

One additional tip: only open the console from the main menu, otherwise the game might freeze. If that happens type "chareditor" and continue from there...

I had that happen i had to reopen the councel by pressing ~ if i press the x to close it the game freezes if you have this happen hit your ~ again then use your ~ to close and you should unfreeze. I hope this helps

yea I found that sometimes the ` trick doesn't work so I tabed out did the` it worked like a charm . my pc fried so using my roommate's crappy pc and bloodlines seems the only game with no lag for me :( now
