Can't proceed.

I just got the unofficial plus patch and i can't proceed through the tutorial area, Jack just doesn't exist, all available doors are either locked or actually just wall. I used noclip and couldn't find jack or the "guard" that i'm supposed to attack. I could only find those rats and the homeless dude, no enemies, nothing. I saw the fence, thought i could destroy it. Don't have fists. I tried to use the console to give me one, the game didn't recognize the command for some reason. The fact that i could use noclip already confirms other console commands work. There's also this weird ring of bugs thing just swirling around at the spawn location. Can't do anything with that.

You probably didn't install the patch into the right folder or didn't start the patched game. Did you use the shortcut the patch creates? Did you append the launcht options if you used Steam?

I just played it right after i did the installation. I used the directory it already chose.

Do i have to move Unofficial_Patch to another folder? It's in the game folder. So like Bin or Vampire? I installed the patch extras and the walkthrough is working fine.

It should be in the game folder, like bin and vampire, yes. Do you see the patch info on the gameplay options tab?

i see the version of it but no other details. Actually, do i have to delete my saves? I tried again to see if it was there and i saw things from my vanilla tutorial. Bottles already shot. Blood in the places where i had to fight someone. WIndow already broken, computer already hacked, key already taken, lockpick already taken. I didn't have those in my inventory though.

i went back and found out that I've been there for more than a few seconds to, 28 minutes. I went to the very end to see Jack just standing there. i couldn't talk to him though.

If you continued a save from before installing the patch, this could be the reason. Start a new game!

No i was always starting a new game, yet i still had that problem. You apparently have to remove every single save you have. Just get them out of the save folder in, i think it was Vampire. Move em', delete em', whatever.
