Gary's email tasks, boss

so when Gary starts emailing you to ask you to send him various things (like an old movie, a "revealing picture"(?) in order to get a poster of VV (Velvet Velour), etc). There are no clues as to where to look, in his emails. I have no idea where to look; am I missing something? (I found the tape he requested in his first email by sheer accident)

The "revealing photo" Gary saw was on the show Haunted LA. Remember the guy who was the producer of that show? So there's your clue to the VV poster...

It's always been on Milligan's desk in his bedroom by the computer.

In this particular case, Gary Golden's email quests don't appear in the wiki under their own headline. It's a great wiki, though! Just not much help to me in this case.

Type "poster session vtmb" into google and the first result will be a link to the wikia with the quest info and a description of where to find the items.

Also, to your original post, you're not missing anything, the game simply doesn't tell you where they are. It's meant to be a scavenger hunt, and the quest isn't important or tied to anything else.
