I don't use any mods from Nexus for this game, I only use Moddb. So I can't answer your question about that.
AntiTribu 1.1 is different experience entirely, lot more enemies, ton more bosses, and its much harder. Almost no skillbooks, but they give you some extra XP to compensate, plus it has unique companion Gargoyle quest. Really its something anyone who likes VTM should play once, just for kicks.
Final Nights 1.5 I just finished second time, and, ... its just weak. First time I felt I missed out by not maxing Computers and Inspection. So this time I built literally most perfect character to farm every possible skill point, Assamite, Blackhat, had 10 hacking, 10 lockpicking, 10 inspection, 13 Firearms, and maxed defense. Its only possible character that can max all of that and it requires really knowing where everything is and in which order to do quests as if you miss computer to hack, it becomes unhackable (ie. Dennis at Beach house computer is unhackable minute you are hostile to them, Asylym ones unhackable after Sibling Rivalry, Skyline Apt#1 unhackable minute you deal with guy in apartment, etc).
So, I ran around everywhere with 10 inspection, and its just junk. You find armor, weapons, one zone before you can buy them, can find 4 occult items (which you can also just buy later), however 3 out of 4 you can only sell as each affects different discipline and you will probably not have more than one of four. While "hack 17 computers, get money and 1XP from each" sounded awesome, ... in practice Pam's computer in museum was unhackable, so I was down to 16, total amount of money from all those hacks was 1200 or so, and in the end I just felt like at best I broke even, by time I got to Chinatown. Lockpicking was better, but not by much. 10 Lockpicking gets you best armor, its Carsons Apartment chest, ... problem is, you again lose humanity for picking chests which belong to 'innocents' and in TFN you cant really afford to be dropping humanity.
Melee in Final nights is WEAK. Brawl is just pointless. So you either use guns or you struggle. Most clans they put in are really lame. For example Baali were supposedly OP in some earlier version, so now they have max humanity 6, which does not sound bad until you realize that in TFN you lose humanity for lot of quests. And at 5 humanity your conversation options change to a point where you will miss out on xp and just piss people off. At 3 humanity you lose humanity just by being near 'innocent' dying and 'innocent' in this game is basically anyone who is not a vampire, or a thug in combat zone. Thugs and criminals outside combat zones are 'innocent'. And you lose game if you hit 0 humanity. Baali cannot get humanity from dancing. Their Discipline is probably one of weakest things anyone ever designed for this game. And fun part ... Baali advantage is "get +1 xp every time you get 3 xp or more at once", but they removed probably all instances of 3 xp or more given at once.Quests which normal game gives you 3 xp for this one kept giving me 1 xp for.
There is also "Bloodlines Extreme", which basically just makes every junk mob 5x harder to kill. Like instead of 5 hits to kill something, now it takes 25. Then he halved max amount of ammo you can carry, reduced xp, reduced money and in his manual says you should be working on having 9 Haggle by time you reach Hollywood.
I played TFN and Extreme twice each, but they have so little extra content and are both more about just making game less fun. Its a game about being Vampire with cool Disciplines so when mod gives you so little XP you never really get to use your disciplines til last zone, no point for me. What I found most ridiculous is statement by makers of TFN that they removed 'Bloodlines' because its so different, ... yet, its same game, just nerfed to oblivion, with maybe 2 playable cans (other 5 just plain suck so bad I dont see anyone playing them), and 3 or 4 very short new quests.
So, for FUN, I'd say play Clan Mod and at least once AntiTribu (even tho AT Warrens are just really, really, really stupid, its still worth playing that mod fully once just to see how insane Bloodlines can get when you get Aliens, Ninjas, and Grouts Wife fighting you).
